Which is better — straightening or keratin?
Permanent straightening gives a poker-straight, lasting result; keratin gives a softer, natural smoothness for 3–5 months. HORA recommends one after examining your hair.
Is permanent straightening damaging for hair?
Straightening restructures the hair's internal bonds, so it is the most intensive smoothing service — done well, with bond care like Olaplex and proper aftercare, hair stays healthy-looking; done cheaply, it can leave hair brittle. HORA assesses hair strength at a free consultation and will honestly recommend keratin or nanoplastia instead when straightening isn't advisable.
How long does hair straightening last?
The treated length stays permanently straight — hair only returns to its natural texture as new growth comes in, typically needing a root touch-up after 8–12 months depending on how fast your hair grows.
